PHILOSOPHY
Structure before noise.
We believe good decisions come from clarity, patience, and the discipline to do less. We prefer durable ideas to fashionable ones, and structure to spectacle.
WORKING PRINCIPLES
01 — Patience is a decision.
We answer the few things that deserve an answer. The urge to act is constant; the need to act is rare. We treat patience as a decision made daily, on purpose — and we measure years the way others measure weeks.
02 — Simplicity is earned.
Anything can be made complicated; making it simple is the work. We would rather understand one thing completely than many things approximately, and we stay inside the boundary of what we understand. The boundary matters more than the territory.
03 — Structure over spectacle.
Fashion is expensive and forgettable. Structure is cheap and permanent. This preference governs how the company is organized, how it writes, and how it looks — including this page.
04 — Self-reliance by design.
Eras of easy interdependence end; what endures is what can stand on its own. The company finances itself, staffs itself sparingly, and builds so the foundation stands, whatever a vendor, a fashion, or a forecast may do.
05 — Candor, even when it stings.
Errors are recorded, named, and kept in view. An honest account of what went wrong is worth more than a polished account of what went right — and it is the only known cure for repeating the mistake.
06 — Technology is a tool, not a master.
New instruments deserve study, not worship. We adopt what compounds quietly and skip what merely glitters. The test is always the same: will this still matter in twenty years?
Simplicity is not the absence of effort. It is the result of it.
Do less, but better.
